Papa John's Pizza - Harrisburg

I always prefer ordering from the Harrisburg location of this restaurant because they have better service and better pizzas. However, tonight when I placed a $65 order, I was looking forward to trying the new papa bowl. I prefer the toppings they offer, so I was excited. But to my disappointment, the papa bowl had very little alfredo sauce, a few pieces of chicken, spinach, tomatoes, pineapple, and burnt cheese on top. It was not at all what I was expecting and left me feeling disappointed.

Believe me when I tell you that I seldom write negative reviews, but after what I experienced tonight, I can confidently say that we will not be ordering from this restaurant again. We ordered the ultimate stuffed crust pizza and the cinnamon pull aparts, but only received the pizza. The delivery person informed us that they were not serving desserts at the moment. If that's the case, they shouldn't have it listed on the menu. And if they don't make desserts, why charge us for it? When we inquired about it, the response we received was unsatisfactory.

I want to give a shout out to the Harris Square location for their outstanding customer service tonight! There was a mistake with my order, but Natasha and the rest of the team on duty worked together to fix it. Although I had to wait a bit longer for my food, they were extremely apologetic and even offered me a free dessert as compensation for the inconvenience. Customer service like that is hard to come by these days, especially in the fast food pizza industry. Thank you, Papa John's, for everything.

Pizza was cold. Dropped off by a door dash driver that left it at my front door without ringing the doorbell. No notification from papa John's or door dash. And they forgot my other pizza. I called to see how they were going to make this right and they said we aren't going to replace the cold pizza because we have no delivery drivers. Cool. Thanks for nothing. I will never order from here again and I truly hope the rest of you do not as well. Support other local businesses.

Got 2 basic large pepperoni regular crust. Asked for extra sauce instead it was completely dry and dough was pounded thin. Cheese lacking. Dry, overcooked, even the kids didn't want it. Had much better pizza at Chuck E Cheese and that's a low bar. Hard pass from now on.
