Excellent crab bisque soup!! Great size crab cake was so pleased they did not shrink serving size like other local restaurants. Lemon meringue pie was also tasty! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Delaware.

On the plus side, the portion sizes are generous, and you certainly won't leave feeling hungry—definitely a good value for the price. The restrooms were very clean, which is always a plus. Overall, this diner has a traditional vibe and isn’t anything extravagant, but it shines because of its amazing staff. Every employee wore a smile, and there seemed to be a special camaraderie among them that was felt by the customers as well. In summary, it’s a lovely place with a calming atmosphere. The four-star rating is largely due to the wonderful people who work here, while the food could use some adjustments and quality control to ensure that customers receive exactly what they order.

I’d definitely recommend this place from Diners. It’s locally owned and operated, offering great value for your money. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. However, the bathrooms were quite dirty, which cost them a star in my rating.

From the moment I walked in until I was seated, I was warmly greeted. My waitress, Alex, was cheerful and attentive, making me feel right at home. Another server named Melissa passed by and also greeted me with a smile, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The busser was proactive, notifying the servers when new guests arrived in their section. It truly felt like a family-run establishment. To my surprise, the person who greeted me was the owner, Honor, who has been running the restaurant for a year. It was an honor indeed! This review might be long, but I’ve never encountered such impressive quality in a dining experience. I would rate it a perfect 10/10—by far the best experience I’ve ever had, and I hadn’t even tasted the food yet. Originally from Ohio, I was in Delaware for some business. I savored the homemade bread pudding and enjoyed a delightful early Thanksgiving dinner, featuring perfectly prepared turkey and stuffing with a superb chicken gravy. Even the macaroni and cheese was outstanding. Out of the 2,060 reviews I’ve written, this has become my absolute favorite place—from start to finish. God bless, and I advised the manager not to change a thing, as the quality and service were 100% satisfactory!

That's the third time we were and every time was delicious. Tonight we tried the crabcake sandwich and the chicken Philly cheese steak with roasted onions and mushrooms (no paprika). We like their fries. They have a case of desserts that look amazing and tasty, but we never have space to try them.
