We've ordered take out from here several time with a variety of dishes like eggplant, the spinach and cheese dish, different naan and alll are cooked with good ingredients with the right spice level. Also the dishes are very authentic! Bottom line..good place for Indian food. Takeout packaging is good and easily transportable
My 11 year old son wanted to try curry so I took him here. The restaurant is fairly nondescript in decor but pleasant. It took a little longer than expected to get our orders in. We had the regular chicken curry dish and their tomato soup. My son and I are very capable of handling hot food so when we ordered I asked for the hottest they do and he asked medium. The waiter told us we better scale each down a bit and I begrudgingly agreed. When the food came it was good but the heat level was very disappointing. Frankly the medium hot wasn't hot at all. The food was good nonetheless and we will return but will stick to our guns on heat level!
Went there for the first time 2 nights ago, and had a great meal! Had a couple of apps, including the vegetable sampler and the seekh kabab, all of which were very good. For entres two in the party got various types of chicken kababs, both of which were very good. One kabab had some sort of mint marinade, and so the chicken was green, but delicious. I had a vegetarian entree, which was also very good. My son got butter chicken--also good. Serving sizes kind of small, but in keeping with other Indian restaurants that I've been to in the past. We got a couple naan orders also--the best one was one that was stuffed with a raisin/nut mixture--delicious. Overall, the service was very good, and the establishment was clean. Would go again in future.
Another local gem. I go here for take out at least twice a month. They have an indo-Chinese section in the menu that is amazing it's something I don't always find at Indian restaurants. I'm a veg head I've not been disappointed by any of the choices so far.
First time trying Indian food, and this place didn 't disappoint. I came here shortly after they opened for lunch. The place was nice, clean and tastefully/subtly decorated. As soon as I walked in, the aroma from the buffet made me even more hungrier than I was. The people were friendly and attentive. The buffet wasn 't as large as some typical buffets, but it contained so many items that it didn 't matter. I had Lemon Rice, Chili Goby Manchurian (stir fried cauliflower in a garlic ginger sauce), Chloe (chickpeas in North-Indian spices), Chicken Tikka Masala( which was moist and not dry) and Saag Paneer (homemade cottage cheese in a creamy spinach sauce). Everything was delicious, especially the Chloe. Let me just mention that I hated cauliflower as a kid and wouldn 't touch it from my pre-teen years on. However, the Chili Gobi Manchurian looked so good, I had to try it. If my mom cooked cauliflower like this, it would have been one of my favorite vegetables. Trust me on that! If you 've never experienced Indian food before or if you are a lover of it, give this place a try. The dishes I tried had just the right amount of spice and a ton of flavor.
