Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This was my worst dinning experience. My food was correct, but my friend’s food kept coming out cold/luke warm. When my bill came it too was very wrong. It had food on it that I didn’t order and food that i ordered but I never received. The manager comped my friend and her daughter’s food but I still had to pay an altered bill that mad no sense. Clearly I’m no going back there again. AND IN CASE YOU’RE wondering…. We did tip the waiter because we couldn’t figure out who to blame for the poor service and food.

4/27/2024Ordered the fried shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw. Not only did they give me about 15 fries but they were also soggy. My wife got the lemon pepper chicken with the salad and corn and her plate looked pitiful as well. For the price it's not worth it. I'm good on this place for a while. I will stick to Bubbas and Texas Roadhouse.Update: I ordered a half rack of ribs with a caesar salad. When I got home and opened that salad that had to been the saddest disappointment of a salad I ever seen. Not only was the container super small but the lettuce was brown and wilted. The croutons felt like they were soaked in water all day. What's crazy is I had the same thing happened with Texas Roadhouse last week. Salad looked awful. Don't even know what else to say.Steak and shrimp combo shouldn't be 13.99 when the shrimp is small and the steak is barely 6 oz. I get more for the same price at Texas Road house.

My wife I went here last night and it was ok at first. We were sat to eat by a nice hostess and then things got weird. There was a commotion in another seating area. Loud screaming and confusion. Kinda gave my wife a scare. We then ordered our food, my wife(pregnant) ordered a spinach dip and I ordered a shrimp pasta. As we sat and waited for our food to arrive, the commotion started to creep folks out and they started to order their food to go. We did not. Our dip arrived and it was delicious, until my wife got to the very last bit and found a piece of wood in her dip! This made me very upset! I had to go retrieve the manager myself. When I did, Chris was his name. I asked him how could this happen? This could have been a very dangerous situation for my wife or our unborn child! He offered to remove the item from our ticket and replace it for free. At this point my wife was already feeling unsure about eating anything else that came from the kitchen! We love this place and were very disappointed in the nonchalant attitude from the manager about the situation! We will not be eating here anymore. They lack in food safety and food quality. We still paid $30 for food that we didn’t trust eating. This is not ok!

Thanks to cheddar for a $26.00 lesson on were not to eat a piece of toast burn as black as the container it was in,missing the Coleslaw and enough salt in the broccoli casserole to carry a family of 4 for a week. This is my personal opinion of cheddar's hope all other customers had a better meal today.
