The Shambles - Harborough

Room stayed a night room was clean tea cooking facilities always a hit with me and there was a great choice. we ate in the pub in the night and would recommend eating. we have breakfast in the morning and would also recommend. all staff were very friendly. we took our dog with us and she was welcomed both in the room we booked and in the bar. this is always a good reason to recommend a place because our dog goes with us everywhere and if she cannot go, we do not.

We found the shambles randomly and decided to enter for a cup of tea. we eat there. eating was the best we had and the staff was all fantastic. it was nice to meet all there and the way they helped us sort so mama had a lot of space for their wheelchair just perfect. would recommend this pub to anyone if they only want a few beers, a beautiful cuppa or a meal. it is certainly the top of our list.

Really nice staff, always friendly polite, eating is nice, always looks good on the plate good size shares, much choice, my mother had the pork hack barnsley lamb hack the special board, yummy x

Fantastic home cooked food. Lovely cosy and charming Inn atmosphere. Staff go out their way to provide excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend The Shambles. Well worth an hours drive!!
