Jersey Mike's Subs - Happy Valley

I recently purchased a small catering order for a work event. I used to work at here for over a year and know that it gets very busy this time of year, so I called ahead and asked the manager if they had time to make the order to be picked up in a hour. Ishowed up at the designated pick up time my order was not even started. Their was no line either which was confusing, eventhough there were 5 employees there. The service I received was abysmal and would not recommend ever eating at thisestablishment. Ever since I quit, this place has severely dipped in quality. There are far better sandwich places that I wouldhighly recommend. Management at this establishment needs to be seriously evaluated. Would not recommend?

Usually the sandwiches from here turn out alright, but there are a couple large issues with this store in particular; number one: they leave open the bread rack most days, letting the bread dry out. This is their worst offense, and pretty inexcusable.The other thing is their unwillingness to ask what you want on your sandwich. It's like they're trying to get your sandwichclosed as quickly as possible, and I have to shout out my toppings before it's too late (my first Jersey Mike's experience wasat this location, and so I had no idea what I was missing out on because they gave me no clue I had to ask for Mayo/Mustardseperately). Every other Jersey Mike's I've been to makes extra sure you're getting the sandwich you want. The only time thislocation has made me a great sandwich was because the general manager seemed to be present. Other than that, most of the staffseems nice.

I visited yesterday and was quite disappointed to see the staff putting all the leftover lettuce, oil, vinegar, spices, and bread crumbs back into the lettuce bowl. When I mentioned that it seemed like an unsanitary practice, two employees snapped back at me, saying it was how they were trained. I’m not a fan of the seasoning or the soggy lettuce. Because of this, I’m reducing my rating from 5 stars to 4 until the issue is addressed.

This restaurant is consistently a fantastic spot for delicious, high-quality sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even when I order online.

I absolutely love Jersey Mike's! I hope they'll open a location in Oregon City soon! Please consider it!!!
