Makoto - Hanoi

It’s an okay bowl compared to other bowl I had elsewhere. Nice location and atmosphere. 3.5 star for the staff

Average food quality but a little overpriced probably due to its location. Good location for business meeting and such.

The food is pretty good but very pricey. I gave it 3 stars for 2 reasons i) the sashimi was served without grated ginger and with a few shiso leaves.. when we asked for ginger and shiso leaves.. they come with a price tag.. ii) the chopsticks should have been replaced once they were dropped on the the floor even with the paper cover), here we saw the waiter put them back on the dinning table :

Food was okay, generally. The location is good and the atmosphere seems decent enough visually. However, there were many issues with presentation and service. The semi-private room was too hot, pretty much all night. This was made worse when they decided they wanted to close (before last order) and shut off the A/C. For a Japanese restaurant there were many presentation issues, mainly around wanting to clear plates before we were done with a dish... They would move sashimi onto a sushi plate (neither dish finished) and then later they put a bread based appetizer on that same plate. I didn't dislike my meal, but there are many better Japanese restaurants in Hanoi.

The food was great but the service was slow we were more than 2 people and they gave us 1 menu list instead for each person 1.
