フィードバックを提供するI had a great experience. I have booked the vegetarian cooking class by travel advisors. the cook teacher asked for food restrictions and could only absorb vegan. in the regular with the cooking class they have meat and vegetarian cook together with a series of 5 recipes each, but the other student also decided to go with the vegan menu so that it ended only a vegan class. for the vegan menu we have learned to make pho, bananeneis, veggiebälle, fried spring rolls and papaya salad. the instructor speaks fluent English, is friendly, and followed by email after sending the recipes.
Beautiful cooking class and market shopping trip with Apron Up. Our guide and cooking instructor, Siri “hey, Siri!” was incredibly cheerful and entertaining. The lunch we did was delicious and fun to prepare together. Pho, spring rolls, meatballs, papaya salad and egg coffee is a great introduction to the basics of Vietnamese cuisine. Siri’s English is phenomenal and it is a font of information about Vietnam culture and history. Apres Up offers a certificate and a mini-Kokbook to take home so you can try it again. Apres Up is located in a French building in the old French quarter looking for the sign for “Kim’s Tours”.
Very great experience, with nice people! We began with the market to take all the ingredients, and then we cooked all the dishes. Spring rolls, egg coffee… It was very complete! Love it
Great experience by a local cook, we learned enough to replicate the recipes at home. Take a container for left overs as you make a lot of food. Class can cater for vegetarians.
Most amazing experience ever. Our guide Siri was so lovely and knew everything we wanted to know. We learnt so much whilst having fun and I would recommend this to everyone. It is worth the price and actually the cheapest one we could find in Hanoi but much better than the rest (after comparing with friends)
