Meiers Lebenslust - Hannover

Wir waren mit 6 Personen am Samstag hier essen und es hat uns gut gefallen. Das Essen ist etwas unterschiedlich in der Qualität, war aber alles wohlschmeckend. Sehr lecker auch das selbstgebraute Bier. Einzi die Lautstärke war zu hoch, aber da sind wohl die Gäste schuld.

We visited on a quiet Sunday evening. There was nothing to dislike about the food beer and service but nothing was outstanding. The ribs tasted anything but home cooked- the accompanying chilli sauce was straight out of a jar. The two house beers we tried were bland and uninspiring. Not a very good example of a German Brauhaus, and we've been to dozens.

Aßen mit der Familie an einem Sonntagmittag draußen; leider viel Verkehr, so das Abgasgeruch stört. Zum Essen: NY Burger war ok; Patty/Bullette war nicht frisch zubereitet, aber das ist ja leider oft so. Salat war lecker. Pfifferling Brusketta super. Craftbeer (0.2) war gut.

Arriving late in Hannover and as the hotel restaurant is under renovation the receptionist tells us about Meiers. And there was a reason for it;Great selection of nice german (and international) dishes - we had burgers and schnizel - maybe not very german but very tasty), fantastic variation of beers (dont miss their own brews) and a splendid service. We highly recommend it!

They brew their own beer here which is very tasty. And the food I had was good, the service was also very good and attentive.
