Mango Mangeaux: A Simply Panache Bistro

I will always cherish dining at this restaurant. Most recently, I had brunch upstairs with friends, and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional as usual. I truly enjoy eating here; you're always guaranteed a wonderful experience. Food: 5/5

This review is somewhat mixed. I visited this restaurant over a year ago for breakfast and had a fantastic experience. However, my recent lunch visit was a disappointment, rating only a 2 out of 5. The gumbo was mediocre—not bad, but nothing special. Two of my friends ordered shrimp and grits, and as Southerners, we were quite let down. The grits were extremely runny, resembling porridge rather than a hearty dish. I ordered the fontina cheese panini with tomato thyme soup. Unfortunately, the cheese had an off flavor that everyone at my table agreed on, but the soup was delicious. Sadly, I ended up being sick twice after leaving. They have a no-refund policy, but they graciously remade the panini without the cheese blend, which I appreciated. On a positive note, my green apple martini was enjoyable, and the beignets were quite good!

The food was absolutely delicious! Just be prepared to wait a bit, as they are a small restaurant with a high demand. It's important to make a reservation!

This place is perfect! Friendly workers and beautiful atmosphere. I’m here on vacation and one of our beautiful servers even gave us recommendations for fun activities. Food was AMAZING and seasoned to perfection. 10000/10! I love it!Food: 5/5

It took a good little while to be seated but the food was worth the wait! Flavored just right and very authentic. The food alone would bring me back and friends and family. The service after we were seated was good and attentive. It was a holiday so our wait was die to that. I highly recommend that you go and try out this little hidden treasure in Hampton Virginia!
