フィードバックを提供するWe used to enjoy dining at Poke City, but after tonight, we've decided it'll be our last visit. The food wasn't up to par, and the service was lacking. There was only one girl working, while another woman was hanging around with a loud child by the food line. The noise was unbearable, and no one seemed to be helping the girl or controlling the child's behavior. The crab in our dishes was old and dry, and the $5 thaitee tasted nothing like it should. It's disappointing to see Poke City decline like this. We feel sorry for the girl who had to deal with the stress of managing the restaurant while the unattended child caused chaos. There are plenty of better-run places where we can spend our money.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but what really stands out are their drink options. They offer fantastic smoothies, teas, and other fruity drinks. The music game was a fun touch and brought me back to my childhood in the 90s. I highly recommend the smoothies, and overall the restaurant is decently nutritious. Everything was well-prepared and fresh, with nothing over or undercooked. If you're looking for a place with a wide variety of food beyond just the basics, this may not be the spot for you. However, if you're seeking high-quality ingredients and a unique blend of flavors, this restaurant is a great choice. The teriyaki here is even better than at other local options. The menu blends Hawaiian, Asian, and Mexican influences, with some dishes featuring pineapple. This fusion style may not be for everyone, but it's worth a try for those looking for something different.
The restaurant's appearance is fantastic and the food was very fresh. However, the sauce I chose (ginger) was not tasty and made my bowl bland. The flavors mainly came from the fresh fruits and sweetness of the dish. I would definitely try a different sauce next time. My partner thought they were stingy with the toppings and wanted me to mention it, but I didn't. We visit every Poke Square location in every city in the United States as we love traveling and Poke is our favorite cuisine.
My partner was very excited to treat me here for lunch and I didn't know why. until I took the first bite from my Cajun bowl and my first swallow of the jasmine Bubble tea! the place inside was clean and well organized, barbara and gracie was very warm and open to help ask about eating and answering tee. her open, friendly nature helped me here overall experience.
My husband has been talking about how good this place is for months. He frequently goes when working in the area. He finally convinced me to take the trip over from Slidell. It was delicious. Most of us had poke bowls, but my son had the ramen. Everything was fresh and delicious. I saw a few posts about the wait for your food. Our food was made fresh, so yes it’s going to take some time. I wish they’d put one in the Fremaux Shopping center in Slidell.
