Koi - Hamilton

I was hoping for a better experience at Koi. I wasn't overly impressed with my food and I felt like the servers weren't overly imterested in serving our table, or any table around us. Unfortunate.

I met up with old classmates at this restaurant. The food was amazing but to be honest, the service was quite lacking, it seemed like I was bothering the servers and that they had other things on their minds. Probably they take it for granted because it's in a prime location hopefully they improve but again the food was so amazing the bit pricey but I was OK with it.

Before heading to a concert, my friend and I decided to stop here for some food. It looked like there was a few other people eating and enjoying themselves. We were sat and ordered drinks. about 20 minutes later our server appeared to take our order and we still had no recieved our drinks. 10 minutes later our drinks came. We arrived at Koi at about 5:20pm. Our concert was at 7. We did not recieve our food until 6:48. We had other servers check on the food and said it would be right out. Our server eventually came back and said the food would be ready soon. She then appeared shortly after to offer us a free drink because our food was not yet ready. It seemed like the server had forgotten about us and our food.

Nice location with a nice patio to sit in the sun on a beautiful warm spring day. Service was a little slow but staff were very pleasant. Our waitress recommended a martini and it was amazing.....Also had dinner and the food was very tasty and reasonable prices. Would definitely go back again

Nice situation on a sunny patio in Hess Village. Started off with drinks, no rose wine even though it was on the menu, out of the other 6 whites that were available you could only choose from 3 if you wanted a glass the rest were by the bottle only!We ordered 2 appetisers and 2 entrees. Waited a long time for the food to arrive, when it did it was the entrees. The server had forgotten about the appetisers. She apologised and said she'd go get them
