The famous currywurst is quite average. the curry sauce is pretty sweet and spicy. I had better curry sausages on many places.

The sausages have been cooking for everlasting and they are a little dry. no chips, only the traditional potato salad. never tasted anything else like the curry sauce = German spicy ketchup. they are famous. all time-reviews and old style fittings give to the place the feeling of a museum. nice that you come back for a piece of history that is frozen, and to go with good eating.

Best Currywurst ever! The sauce is great and fruity and the sausage delicious and has a nice consistence. You get some bread for the sausage.

Read an evaluation of this authentic German food store. visited and was blown away. the owner has obviously done this for many years since it is a busy little hive of delicious curry sausage. in any case you have to try in hamburg with the accompanying kartoffel salad. stand and eat at the bar inside for a great experience.
