Asia Restaurant Rasa Sayang - GEOFFNET

It's located almost in the town centre of Buxtehude, just 5 minutes on foot from the main church. The dishes range from basic Chinese cuisine to some Indonesian, Thai and other Asian cuisines. I had sweet sour pork, not bad at all, even though it maybe tasted a little bit too much like ketchup. Portions are big, even if you order the 'medium' portion. Moreover, you can get as much plain rice as you wish at no extra cost. Drinks are a little bit expensive, especially water (6 € for the 0,75 litre bottle!) but thats unfortunately quite normal in Germany. Beer 3,40-5 €. Most dishes 6-11 €. Overall quite good, I'd go back again!

We had been fans of this restaurant for at least years. In the last few years it was taken over by a younger team new owner Tonight we were there for the last time. The food has become bland and tasteless, but...by far the worst thing is the guy in charge/ owner( who is rude, arrogant, offhand and cheeky. Such a shame. We will not be back, sure he couldn't care less.
