Restaurang Paradiso Closed - Halmstad

This restaurant has the nickname greken by the locals and it has a lot in common with greek tavernas. The interior makes you feel transfered to greece and the owner is a greek as well. It 's mostly frequented by families from the nearby camping site and has a really nice and friendly atmosphere. We visited the restaurant a hot evening in august for a couple of drinks and to enjoy the wonderful view which ended up being a dinner and was really impressed by the quality of the food too.

We were a larger group that visited this restaurant. Three in the group ordered fish that was so salty that they had to send it back. When it came back it tasted like they had just rinsed it of. When we told the waitress and asked to talk to the manager they were rude and didn't apologize or anything. I think they can treat people how bad they want because tourists will visit this restaurant just because of the view.

We ate two filet mignons, very good beef but very few accessories, this made the portion itself small The staff did not feel like they were working as a team, also seemed like they were trying to be nice but were probably a little too stressed to be able to be.

The food was perfect ok, but lukewarm serviceman called in and booked a table with an unbuilt look so they don't have someone to wake up the view of the beach and the sea. So I said that time is not so important as long as we can sit as I asked. Yes, it was possible to arrange so that he arrived. When we arrived there, we were at places that almost showed up on the back as I can't be calm, but I pointed out our booking, and he just scrubbed his shoulders and says that it must be this place and he stinks and I thought it was hard that I said something. bad control of the situation, it seems, and bad services. was so bad last year here and then. so unfortunately the last time here now despite good food and very nice location.

We have visited this restaurant a few times while staying at the nearby (and wonderful) Hotel Tylösand. The location is perfect for a drink or a meal, but unfortunately the service is poor and the food is just average, despite being quite expensive. During our last visit, the staff seemed more focused on arguing with each other than attending to the guests. The entire establishment could use a major overhaul. I doubt we will be returning.
