It's Italia - Half Moon Bay

We enjoyed an extremely lovely evening at your restaurant. Our servers Amanda and Zeke were so hospitable and without ever being intrusive during our conversations. The food exceptional as was the warm and cozy ambience. Thank you for a great evening and we WILL be back when we are in the area.

The food and waitstaff are great and portions are very generous. The only drawback was the hostess that would not let us sit away from the smokey kitchen even after I told her that three people in our family have asthma. The table I asked to move to stayed empty and the restaurant was only half filled on a Sunday night.

This is an excellent restaurant with wonderfully clean food, great ambiance and excellent service. The one and only thing that has always bugged me is that they don't offer gluten free alternatives for us GF folk. It would make it so much more enjoyable and we would go more often. Instead we go down the street to Pasta Moon which has everything yummy and a lot of GF alternatives.

Our server was awesome and her recommendations were spot on The food taste was good but in my seafood risotto I got a black lump which I took out and showed the server She showed it to the manager and he just told her it was sand and happens sometimes Really? Clams should be opened and cleaned!

This restaurant is always great. We like to sit outside on the patio even if it's cool because they have fireplaces and heaters, and the space is quiet. (Though if you're not at the back of the restaurant it's relatively quiet inside too. Service is always good. They have gone back to their previous salmon preparation, which is wonderful. (Now if they would just bring back the chicken pasta with tomatoes and spinach! Looking at you, Betsy. ?
