The first place I wanted to visit was the North Shore, famous for its shrimp trucks, and I can't believe how much I've been missing! I decided to try Zane's, where I had the pineapple and coconut shrimp, and it was fantastic. The staff was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was wonderful, the vibe was great, the weather was perfect, and the food was simply delicious. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in town!
I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem! We were exploring historic north shore when we saw some trucks and decided to stop. Chose the Thai sweet chili shrimp plate and let me tell you…..AMAZING! DELICIOUS!! So fresh! The whole week I was in town I kept insisting on going back. Finally made a trip back before I flew back home and tried the pineapple coconut shrimp as well as a second plate of the TSC shrimp!! Divine!! Bravo Zane’s! I’ll have to go back to Oahu just for another taste.
If the line is ridiculous at that popular restaurant next door, this is a fantastic alternative! Zane's food is just as delicious. The garlic butter shrimp and fresh fish were incredible, so no vampires to worry about today! The side of hot sauce paired perfectly with both the shrimp and the fish.
Pineapple Coconut Shrimp is so Good! Crispy crust with sweet pineapple. Even the most rice is good with coconut flavor. No line and credit card. 10 minutes wait vs the 30+ at Giovanni's.
The auntie who worked there was very kind. Apparently the nasty old guy from some time ago is gone ? .The price is reasonable same as Giovanni's next door , but the shrimp are smaller than Giovanni's. But they are already shelled if you don't want to get your hands messy, and they give you a lot of shrimp. The butter garlic sauce is very good. The pineapple coconut shrimp is not coconutty, but there is fresh pineapple on top. The batter is soft, not crispy.Comes with one scoop of rice and salad.Very friendly service from the auntie, benches were clean.
