Buonocore's Brick Oven Pizza - Haledon

Kind of a hole in the wall. I really wanted a slice of pizza ? but they don't sell it by the slice there. I ended up with an Italian sub on their homemade bread which was really good. I enjoyed the sandwich ?. I may or may not return. They have brick oven pizza so I may have to try it.Parking: Parking is hit or miss. It's all street parking and there are other businesses so it may be difficult.

My family and I went to Buonocore’s Brick Oven Pizza yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere feels very welcoming and familiar, and the chef is excellent. All of the food is cooked with wood, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is small, but cozy. We especially loved watching the chef cook our meal and seeing everything happening right before our eyes. He even had direct contact with us and made our visit extra enjoyable. I am certain that I will be returning to this restaurant, and have already recommended it to my friends. Overall, Buonocore’s Brick Oven Pizza is a must-try for anyone looking for great food in a friendly atmosphere

This place is a hidden gem in Heldon, let's start by the REAL wood sitting in the dinning room waiting to lite that oven! All the ingredients are fresh, or homemade. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and really makes you feel at home. The sauce is fresh, the mozzarella cheese is made by the owner himself, a family tradition passed down by his father. We will definitely be back with more friends. Run don't walk to this place!
