I also ordered fettuccine noodles to go with the chicken, and guess what? No noodles. The sauce from the chicken spilled everywhere, leaving my brown bag soaked. The chicken was poorly cooked and soggy. The cheesy bread was hard at the ends, and the cheese just sat on top of the bread like a blanket—I had to pick it up with just my fingers. Overall, just terrible. The spaghetti sauce was so runny, it was like water.
What I mean is that although it's a bit off the highway, it's definitely worth the short drive. I was on my way back to Maine and decided to stop here for a bite to eat (I tend to eat too much pizza on the road since it's easy to have while driving). I spotted a sign indicating there was food at the exit, so I got off and found this place. While I've had better pizza, this was still really good—flavorful and tasty, and the crust was particularly enjoyable. I got it to go, but it seems like a nice spot for families, with plenty of comfortable seating, a quiet atmosphere, and cleanliness.
Thanks for feeding the entire airport today when our flight was delayed! Y’all were such troopers and so fast! Pizza ? is great, I loved the dough. And the Italian salad dressing is very delicious. ? you made a lot of people happy while we were trapped at the airport THANKS GUYS!
Tony's is not only a GREAT Italian Restaurant, but probably the only one that has REAL NYC Style Pizza in the Washington County, MD region !! I most HIGHLY Recommend Tony's as it brings back memories of my NYC roots.
