I will drive out of my way to go to this Roy Rogers. Today is an example of why: I drove off from the drive through without my atm/cc and the worker ran it before I got out of the parking lot.
I ordered the Large Roast Beef with a side of mashed potatoes, while she opted for a Chicken Tender Combo with fries. My aunt is quite a picky eater and tends to complain a lot, but she was genuinely pleased with her meal. The restaurant was very clean, the fixin's bar was fresh and inviting, and the cashier was patient and friendly. Although I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Hagerstown, I will definitely keep Roy Rogers in mind for future travels!
It was my first time enjoying Roy Rogers’ food in about a decade, and it’s just as delicious as I remember. I tried the Texas Pete Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and it delivered—just like the Roy Rogers chicken I recall, but with an exciting kick. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was pleasantly surprised to find that Roy's also offers mozzarella sticks, and they were great. Honestly, I can’t say I’ve ever had bad mozzarella sticks!
When I request two chicken breasts, I'm fine with the extra charge, but they often fail to deliver exactly what I ordered. There’s another Roy Rogers in town where I can place the same order without any problems. This location, however, never seems to get it right. Despite their consistent mistakes, they always remember to charge me extra for my order. I highly recommend driving across town to the other location instead. This place is simply not worth your time.
