Mango Grill - Hagerstown

We went about 20 miles away from ours to try this place, and it is now a part of every road we take in the opposite. the cook served us a free dish because he wanted to show us something that his vegan customers love, which is not yet on the menu. it was pronounced ‘sog’ perhaps ‘saag’. it was incredible. they were so nice and enthusiastic about their eating. extremely fast service. Maybe if enough vegans continue here, they will go veg!

I'm so glad we found this on happy cow! it is an amazing little gem hidden in an inconceivable building on the edge of the city. we have been there several times and have never been disappointed! her chana masala is from this world well and I get them all. one and outrunning we tried the gemüsebiryani, who was worth every penny of the booktag 11.25. what I didn't recognize after I sweared to read the ingredients, is that it was in him. no biggie, next time I'll be sure not to ask. the menu clearly indicates what vegan gluten-free is, so I should have known...Whoops! the waiter is always super friendly and their service is excellent. try this place when they are in the opposite!

I am a native nyer who traveled with two children to hagerstown and we are on a rather narrow diet. I found something that corresponds to all three of us. even their desserts fit to what we needed, but they were sold out. my children loved the lenses and rice as well as the naan. I had the mixed sampler of different meats, and raj was happy to accommodate that I didn't want a lamb in my teller. that was delicious. well cooked and well seasoned. the atmosphere was beautiful, very beautifully decorated. you can say that this is a new place, they have not yet found their rhythm. I thought I had a clear waiter, but then a woman appeared and seemed to take over for some of our meals, then the waiter again. I received my food and appetizer at the same time and the naan came out above all. I would rather naan w/meal-seeing than nothing comes with her meal. I have a fajita style pan full boiled meat, no sides, no naan. that was my only weighting $20 for a teller meat. $14 for lenses and tears. I don't know the Hagerstown prizes, but that seemed a little to reach. I would go back to see how they grow and improve their waiting service / voice.

Wow! my friend and I were looking for a place to eat while I drove back to home to maryland and this place has appeared on my happycow app, thank you for goodness! there were some of the best Indian food we had ever eaten. we went there on a Sunday that was the midday buffet. the naan, as everyone has mentioned, is absolutely the best! raj was very nice to me and assured me which items are vegan (my bf is not vegan.) whether they are vegan or not, they will certainly enjoy eating. I wish this place would be closer to home! I can't wait to return.

We are thrilled that Mango Grill, with its chef and owner, Raj, is open in Hagerstown. Fans of the old Taj India in town will be happy to know the food is as wonderful as it ever was. We had Chana Masala and Paneer Tikka Masala, a specialty naan bread with fruit and nuts, and samosas (served with tamarind and coriander chutneys). Everything was exquisitely seasoned and beautifully presented. The delicate tikka masala sauce melts in your mouth and was chock full of tender cubes of paneer. The chana masala was boldly seasoned with a blend of spices and just enough heat. Even the iced tea is special—laced with herbs and spices. The menu features many gluten-free and vegan items (marked as such), and a wide variety of vegetarian options. I can't speak to the Thai food since we had Indian. We are not friends of the owner, just long-time regular customers of his previous restaurant. His gracious personality sets the tone for a relaxing dining experience. The restaurant is newly open (June 2, 2014), and the cheerful interior is painted the color of a ripe mango. It's comfortable, welcoming, and reasonably priced. Our young waiter was personable, attentive and efficient. We were there in the evening and ordered from the menu, but there is a daily lunch buffet as well.
