Colonial Grill - Hagerstown

Awesome service and food! We sat at the bar and want to give a shout out to Dottie! She was a great bartender and fun to be around!

Was served a drink with expired orange juice, then was ignored. Granted, a lot of people came in shortly thereafter, so was very busy. But I noticed people who came in after me were getting food orders in before me. By the time I got attention, I had decided to take my business elsewhere. Loud and boisterous crowd. Too noisy for me.

Nice local tavern, a little pricey on the food, 20 big wings was $35.00.

We were so disappointed this evening. We have for the past 3 years always eaten here on our way to and from Maine. We have always had quick and good service and good food. Tonight was simply beyond disappointing. We waited an hour for our food, because our waitress kept saying it was up next. Everyone who came in after us got their food but not us. After an hour, and worried about our dogs in the car since it is warm outside, we asked about the food and we're told they could prepare it and wrap it up for us to take out. Not an acceptable response. So sad, since we enjoyed this place in the past. Not sure if it was because we were not locals or what, but no excuse for or order to never be put in after an hour. Won't be coming back.

The restaurant is well kept and updated. New patio furniture and glasses. Food came out in a timely manner and was very good. Server was attentive and friendly. It was a nice evening to eat outside on the patio.
