The coffees at this restaurant are excellent (we tried the flat white and cappuccino) and their white chocolate and raspberry tart is a fantastic afternoon treat! This place is a must-visit if you're in the area, or even if you're not!
With its glass frontage and minimalist signage, Mouse DeLotz may sound (and, at a glance, look) like a solicitors' office, but this is a small neighbourhood coffee shop the first telltale sign of gentrification in one of the grubbier corners of north/east London boasting great coffee and yummy home made cakes. Laptop wielding hipsters with babies are an inevitable occupational hazard, but it's worth dodging the waxed moustaches and flat caps for a walnut brownie and a flat white, served by one of the two female proprietors (yes, you guessed, Mouse and De Lotz).
Has a fan base. Coffee is good but I wouldn't travel. Cakes to expensive. English prices but not Danish or Austrian quality.
The service was good, but the coffee was not very memorable. The food is quite pricey, with lunches costing around £7 for basic options like mushrooms and cheese on toast.
