Ma Brown's Dinner Tea Haarlem

Wow what a great little spot to stop for a bite to eat and some amazing tea. The previous review said it's closed but I just visited and it's certainly open for business so you should book a table when in town. I had scones with Lady grey tea and it was perfect.

Delicious British small bites, sweet and savory, I wish we had been able to have dinner here. The charming brothers who took over this Haarlem institution several years ago have kept favorite recipes and clearly brought a contemporary chef's sensibility as well.

Sadly Ma Browns has now closed as Mike the owner chef has retired, and after serving such wonderful food for so many years he deserves it All the best! Saying that the place will still be serving afternoon teas. Details are on the website
