The Rigters brewery has moved to Haaksbergen. Rigters beer is no longer served there. I ordered a tripel from De Molen and after a very long wait it was served in an ordinary lager glass. A large part of the terrace is covered with a black tarpaulin, giving you the impression of disappearing into a dark cave. Too bad, too bad, but the Hoge Esch is finished for me. The atmosphere is gone, attentive service is no longer there. Still something positive: the bitterballen were o.k.
