Power Stop - Gunnison

You know that you are in a good place when all customers and workers know each other. And even better if they treat you like an old friend. In addition, this is one of the best burgers I've ever had. I got the TAD Burger and it was great! HUGE patty, fresh ingredients and sauce fall from the sides and a freshly baked bread. I can't wait to come back to Gunnison just to eat here.

What a surprise! I was looking for a quick breakfast diner stop and when we pulled up, I thought it was a gas station only. Don’t be fooled! There is a cafe in there with seating inside and at the little patio outside. While it was busy and the service a little slow, they definitely have the kitchen figured out. We ordered the Gut Buster (in photo) and the breakfast burrito. I was expecting a mediocre showing, seeing as the place looked like a pit stop, but the food was really fresh and tasted great! Would stop back for a quick breakfast on the go.

Best Philadelphia steak and Mountain man burger. The steak sandwich was mine and it was juicy, savory with a dash of salt,onions,peppers,butter and creamy tasty cheese. The atmosphere was different,clean,homey sort of like surfer meets stoner kind of vibe. Benches had nail sticking up caught my jeans on it and my husband's did too after we hammered them back in.. The food is delicious!

An old gas station that serves a large selection of burgers along with adult beverages if you want to indulge. Power Stop still sells ethanol free gasoline and prices are competitive. You can also get snacks and a large variety of drinks. The burgers are very good. Employees were knowledgeable and courteous. Next time I am in Gunnison I will stop here again.

Absolutely incredible! The quality of food is astounding for a small restaurant located in a gas station. Blake is fantastic; he took our order and prepared our delicious meals. This isn't my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last. I love this place and all the staff. Keep up the amazing work! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.
