Chinese Dragon Palace - GUNGAHLIN

Located on the corner of a building just down from the entrance to Woolworths, this Chinese take-away restaurant is a solid option. You can park in the Woolworths carpark. The cafe is small with only a few seats, so most of their business is likely take-away. The prices are reasonable, with chicken, beef, and pork dishes ranging from $12 to $13, and seafood dishes priced between $15 and $16. We enjoyed our lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork dishes - the meat was good quality and the flavors were tasty. The special combination fried rice was also very delicious. The service was efficient, with our food ready in about 10 minutes, and the young lady who served us was friendly and polite. This place will probably become a regular spot for us.

I ordered a combination of long and short soup at this restaurant, and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. The beef in the soup was so tender, it practically melted in my mouth. I would definitely ask for extra wontons next time because I really enjoyed them. The waitress was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We ended up eating back at the hotel.

I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant and had formed a sort of friendship with the owners.
