Acme Oyster House - Gulf Shores

When visiting Gulf Shores or Orange Beach this is a don't miss. Great food especially the Boo fries.

The Carpetbagger on YouTube mentioned how he always eats at one of these restaurants if he sees them... so we decided we had to try. Was a great decision. I got 6 raw and 6 cooked oysters plus a poor boy. I'd order it all again. A bit pricy to go often, but I'll be sure to add them into places I'll regular. Hopefully, other locations are this good.

Try the butterbean plate. It's unusual but we love it. We get oysters and a butterbean plate with gator bites every time we go. If you're unsure of something, ask for a sample.

I had the seafood salad, and it was okay. The lettuces was iceberg, I would have expected a nice spring mix. The hush puppies were very good and the prickly pear was spot on.
