The customer ahead of us ordered a blueberry smoothie, but the staff informed her that it was made with blueberry syrup and offered her the option of Açaí instead. She accepted the suggestion but was then charged for the Açaí. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Additionally, they turned off the credit card machine and only accepted cash. I offered a $50 bill, but they refused it. I pointed out how ridiculous this was, but they said there was nothing they could do. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location based on my experience. I'm not sure how other chains operate, but this was not a good experience for us.
Smoothie was good, fresh and tasteful. The pack was just okay. The service was okay. The staff was terrible. The young lady who made our smoothies was great, but they were short employees and she was smashed with online ordering and in store orders. She was on her one game. I wish I could remember her name. The person who helped her was terrible and slow. When the smoothie maker made 10 smoothies, the other Gal hadn't even packed my daughters. In my opinion, make one thing big and stick to it... don't make a few mediocre things and think you can have a successful business... it just pulls bad reviews. Just stick to smoothies and get some dedicated employees.
What is the deal with blueberries?!?? Is there a shortage of pagans I am not aware of??? That's ridiculous. Can't get the smoothie you want because they're ALWAYS from blueberries. Even if you are subscribing with Acai Berry, they will charge you extra for the other ingredients. At the end, you pay over $10 against $6.59 for a drink not even close to what you want!
I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could, based on my experience today. I waited in line for 20 minutes before my order was even taken, and there was only one person in front of me. After I ordered a smoothie and a wrap, it took an additional 35 minutes to receive my food. In total, I spent an hour there. Although it was a busy Saturday, the real problem was how understaffed they were. There were only two employees, and one of them decided to take a break while there was a long line for both smoothies and food, leaving the other worker to manage everything alone. She struggled to keep up with online orders, which meant those of us in the restaurant were neglected. The owners should step in to help when they are short-staffed. I won't be returning to this location; next time, I'll head to Chick-fil-A across the street when I need a quick bite on my way to the beach.
