Today is our last day and decided to have a light lunch there before getting the train home. We had soup to start with, which was really tasty, my husband ordered a tosta mista which he said was the best he had ever eaten as the bread was light and crispy, I ordered a prego (steak sandwich) and that was definitely the best I have ever eaten, some of the ones I have eaten in the past were almost inedible as the meat was tough, not so here. We also had two cokes, two coffees and two cakes all for 15.90€ The cakes are very good, the Pastelaria itself is clean and bright, really friendly staff
Excellent pastry, sooo many choices, hard to decide . We went back the next day and left with a box of the ones we did not try the 1st time. Would strongly recommend stopping by of ever in Guimaraes. It is situated in one of the main squares, close to the Aqui nasceu Portugal .
We went for breakfast, cofee, nice cheese and ham sandwiches, pastries and cookies. Friendly staff, free WiFi, 20 euros for 4 adults
A lot of pastry and bakery. Nice toast and great coffee. Waitress are very kind and service is fast. Prices are ok.
We were lured in by the Use-It map and it was a worthy tip. Cakes were good, but not actually extraordinary. Nonetheless, the promoted Torta de Guimaraes was quite overpriced and many other pastries were better.
