Small wine bar in guildford. beautiful service, great wine choices, perfect cheeseboards so we can come back!

Delicious food, great service, nice restaurant. there is a decent selection of small plates, the waiting staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is beautiful. would recommend.

My mother-in-law and I had a great time at the Iberian wine tasting in the heart! it was a warm reception with name cards on the tables and a welcome glass of cava. each person received a laundry plate that was delicious and filled. I enjoyed the...Overviews andy gave to every wine-informative, but short enough that they don't feel out of place when they are not a big wein aficionado. overall the atmosphere was very joyful and I would recommend this as a fun evening!

This is a fantastic weeping and shop. it is quite small, so it is advisable to book in the evening, but on the day they can get up in the usually easy way and get a table. large selection of weeping and they are more than happy. to recommend something they might not have. I first wanted to write a review to say that our evening was unfortunately spoiled by a large group that was on the takeover of the place, were incredibly loud and seemed that this was standing in and not a seat. they were worrying for the fact that other couples, like we, had tried to have a nice evening and did not want to be consistent from others at the point that we did not even have a conversation. I then realized that the same group had written a review that complained about her evening. amazing! if you want to have the place for yourself, you should book the whole place, not sit 10 (which they could not even use) and then show up with more people than they book, spread out as they see fit and pamper every other night. based on their assessment, I'm sure they won't be back anyway. for everyone else they will not be disappointed, but book ahead when they go in the evening!

It is a real shame I am writing this review but last night we had what I can only describe as awful experience of having a party at Corkage. We booked a table in advanced for our work colleague's engagement for 10 people when...I turned up everything was beautifully laid out with cheese and meat boards we had pre-ordered. We were really enjoying our evening and Peter the bar man was recommending wine for us when suddenly out of nowhere we were asked to leave and given 20 mins to do so. I was very confused after being told when I made the booking that we had the table all evening. At this point I asked to speak to the manager on the phone as he was not working and all I can say is I have never come across a ruder man. He had no manners at all and was very aggressive in his tone telling me if we didn't leave he would come down to the bar and make me. I felt very threatened by him and confused as we were having a lovely time spending lots of money on wine in his bar. All in all it would appear there was a mix up with his bookings nothing to do with us but the way he dealt with this was absolutely terrible. Very very unprofessional indeed. We followed up with an email of complaint the next day and he hardly even apologised trying to say we had brought too many people 2 extra people turned up in the evening! Again his email was very aggressive and lacked any respect for us being customers! The wine is nice but rather expensive in this place but the manager and service is appalling!
