The food was so good and they give options, which all of them are good and well-prepared. They don´t allow children but there is a special are for the children to be there watching TV, sitting on couches or playing around with the supervision of...someone from the hotel. The service was too slow, there was a moment when all of the waiters literally disappeared and they were mixing all the dishes, but I would recommend for you to go if you want good and a little elegant mexican food.

We went to El Mexicano as part of an all inclusive package at Las Brisas. First off, service is outstanding. We were very pleased with all three courses including the table side preparation of salsa made to your liking. We are not expert Mexican...food connoisseurs so the various dishes were authentic enough for us. They certainly were tasty and presented beautifully as well.

My wife and I shared 2 delicious dishes- fish tacos and a large burrito-style dish with 4 different fish selection. Both portions were large enough to share. The restaurant is well appointed with nice art and pleasant muted lighting. Service was very good. Dinner, wine...and tip for the two of us was about $30.00 USD.

Very comfortable sports bar. Good food and prices, large screen Tvs to watch games. Awesome salsa! Right off main road across from emporio.

One of the best meals we've ever had! We were staying at the hotel and I'm not partial to eating in hotels but after talking to cab drivers and others we gave it a go. Started with Shrimp tamales were divine( I'll be ordering these...next time as well) Mocajete made table side, a salsa style(we went gringo on the peppers) and a cheese mocajete both were served with homemade heavenly corn tortilla and fried tortillas Then a lovely lime sorbet palate cleanser Hub ordered a a Mayan pork dish that was served with pork in a mocajete, corn tortillas and pickled jalapeño onions. Which was was so amazing I ordered a chicken mole, absolutely heaven! Both entrees were amazing but too much food so we brought back to the room for next morning snacks. Restaurant is subtlety decorate and the serving dishes are breathtaking. One of our finest dining experiences ever, we will do this again before we go. One must not forget the staff, they are amazing and Paulino was a pleasure! We went back for our final night and the food was just as amazing as was the service
