Its a busy time of year in December but I shouldn 't have to beg and send 12+ emails and leave 9 messages to get information for a over 10,000 dollar event I am interested in throwing at this establishment. The Carlyle club is certainly not the only place to go in the NOVA area..they should realize that and have a bit more professionalism when speaking to their potential customers . I have a large circle of friends and family always celebrating something and always looking for a nice venue... This will never be a recomendation from me. Professionalism and Curtousy is what business owners should provide.
Our daughter's wedding reception was wonderful! Except for a few small details, I would heartily recommend The Carlyle Club. The owners Sharon Brennan were great to work with, the food got rave reviews from our guests, the staff was attentive and polite, and our guests agreed that the art-deco-style venue was a lot of fun. Sharon made sure we were happy with every detail, and parking was easy (underground). I would definitely use this venue again.
Went here with my girlfriend on Friday, April 18th to see Anthony David perform live. We arrived around 7:55pm and the opening act was just beginning. Perfect! Carmen Rogers did her thing! We had reservations for table 75 and was seated right in front. There was a row of tables in front of us but nobody showed for those seats. Very pleased with the view. We only ordered drinks and appetizers. But the appetizers definitely left something to be desired. I had the crab cakes...more like three teeny tiny crab balls with a dollop of sauce. My girlfriend had the bruchetta and that was pretty good albeit small. The drinks (lemon drops) were okay as well. Anthony David performed a great show. Would definitely recommend the venue but order a main dish if you're looking to leave full and sated.
The decor of the supper club is nice and I really liked that you reserve your specific seat which means that you don't have to arrive super early to get a decent one. I enjoyed my food (lobster bisque and calamari fritto) and enjoyed the concert. I have two complaints though 1) People talked through the entire concert. I don't know if the volume wasn't up enough or if the venue should have told people not to talk. 2) The bar rail (where I sat) did not have hooks for purses. This is very annoying because every seat at the bar rail was sold.
Great food....sometimes the wait is long, but that just means it is a good experience. I've attended their brunch and the french toast is amazing.
