The Rush Creek Lodge Tavern - Groveland

Good food near Yosemite Valley. We stayed here on the way back from the firefall consideration, and the food was very delicious. We started with chicken wings and tomato soup. Both were very delicious. The wings are spicy and come with one side celery. For the main course we ordered black bean burgers (suriously delicious), Philly cheese steak and poke. Except poke the rest came with a side of fries and the burger also has pimples. We came very hungry and the portion size was so big that we had leftovers.

On the way to Yosemite for lunch. The outdoor seat is closed at this time, but the restaurant was not busy and has high ceilings. The hostess did a nice job to separate Diners. Beautiful modern restaurant and clean facility. The Roasted Beet Salat and the Rush Burger ordered with Fritten. The salad was excellent and very fresh! The burger was a tad greasy...would order without cheese and bacon next to the good taste. Fries could have been a bit cranked for our tastes. Big full bar we don't use, but drinks looked delicious. As others have noticed, the service is friendly but slow, but we have found that the slowness was specific to certain waiting staff so that your experience can vary. Some employees wore masks; others did not. We will definitely come back.

Delicious food, friendly staff and really great relaxed lodge atmosphere. Portions are pretty big, definitely keep that in mind. My husband and I ordered Caesar salad, Grilled Broccoli and Bolognese to split and had a good amount left over. Wish they had some more healthy options.

Great place to stop eating. The buildings are very beautiful and have a rustic feeling for them. The fried cauliflower was so good.
