Cocina Michoacana - Groveland

My friend and I drove over this last weekend to groveland and tried the cocina michoacana to dinner. we share the fajitas for two' and pacificos with lime. the eating and the service were both excellent I am surprised that this place is not rated higher on google than it is

Foods are fantastic, a bit pricy but depends on the location that's ok. Service was delightful and place is little cozy. Best place to hang out with friends and family. We love this place and will definitely to visit next time.

During our most recent visit to. Yosemite National Park, we stayed at a B&B in Groveland, CA. Cocina Michoacana was walking distance from where we stayed and was recommended by our B&B Host. We had dinner there on a Wednesday night. The restaurant is small so there was a short wait to get seated. They had 8 to 10 tables that seemed spaced out due to Covid recommendations. Once seated, we were served water, chips and salsa on the house almost immediately. They took our order and served our dinner within 10-15 minutes. Everything was fresh and hot when served. I had a dinner salad and a hard shelled taco. My husband ordered tamales. Portions were appropriate and tasted wonderful and the food tasted wonderful. Most patrons were locals that seemed to know each other that evening. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend eating there. Food is very authentic and tastes great!

Perfect for a quick lunch takeout. I've had the burritos and the enchiladas. Going back for more in the futute when I'm in a hurry.

Very good Mexican food Wife myself were not expecting such tasty experience in Groveland ! Stopped there for lunch in early Nov on way to Yosemite. This is a small cozy restaurant in the heart of this little town. With Covid around and it being a weekday, no crowd to speak of. We were seated inside. Good sized menu with lots of authentic mexican fare. Had the lunch special pork tacos with rice beans. Wife had a burrito in a mole sauce. Very tasty, reasonable sized sufficiently spicy. Heartly recommend this place. Current Covid protocols (masking) followed by cooks and waiters as far as we could see.
