Katie's Korner - Grove City

This restaurant always puts a scoop of ice cream on top of a cone, but leaves the cone empty. It's not worth it. The ice cream is hard and tastes like store-bought Hershey's. People only like it because there isn't much competition, not because it's good. It's icy and not creamy, which is a big problem in ice cream making and a clear sign of cheap ingredients.

It appears that this restaurant could benefit from hiring more staff or improving their operational procedures. During our visit on a Sunday afternoon, it seemed like there were only 3 people working, with just one person taking orders and serving customers, while the other two were occupied with miscellaneous tasks in the back. We had to wait for 20 minutes to receive 2 pints and a small bowl. The ice cream flavor was just okay.

Avoid using the drive-thru! The ice cream is quite delicious. However, they really need to do a thorough cleaning of their building to get rid of all the bugs, dirt, and webs.

I found my favorite flavor of hard ice cream here! So very good!

Waffle cone was extremely stale. One scoop was resting on top, the cone was empty. Not the usual experience but a noteworthy poor one at an otherwise great ice cream place.
