フィードバックを提供するJust celebrated our anniversary tonight with our first visit to this restaurant. So happy to discover Grill Hall. I love Brazilian steakhouses, and I love not having to go downtown!! We all enjoyed our dinners from beginning to end. My favorite way to eat with some of this and some of that. Flavors and tenderness was great, and the pineapple is terrific too! The service by all was excellent. The owner, Eliane, is friendly and lovely to chat with. Definitely add this to your restaurant list! Driving in to the little strip center, you don’t expect this hidden gem.
A Personal Perspective on My Time at Grill Hall Brazilian Steakhouse:I'd like to share my personal experience working at Grill Hall Brazilian Steakhouse, highlighting certain observations and concerns I've had during my tenure. It's essential to emphasize that my intent in sharing these insights comes from a genuine concern for the well-being of employees and a desire to see positive changes within the workplace. My intention is not to express anger but to foster a better work environment.1.Position Shuffling, Pay Changes, and Tip Scam: Throughout my time at Grill Hall, I've experienced frequent changes in job roles without prior discussion, often accompanied by unexpected adjustments in pay rates. It has been disconcerting to adapt to these changes without prior notice. Additionally, I couldn't help but notice that I was informed about not receiving tips for two weeks after I willingly stepped in to assist as a server due to staff shortages.2.Unjust Hair Change and Appearance Alteration, Financial Loss: I personally encountered situations where employees, including myself, were encouraged to modify their appearance. In my case, I was asked to change my dyed hair, despite receiving compliments from customers for its two rather ordinary colors. This alteration felt like an intrusion into my personal choices, particularly because I was content working in the back of the house. What added to the strain was the financial loss I incurred, having to spend hundreds on formal work attire and change my dyed hair while being given short notice and feeling pressured by the owner to do so, even though my hair was not mentioned as an issue until well after I had accepted to help in the front of the house.3. Verbal Threats and Retaliation: On several occasions, I've witnessed instances where the owner resorted to verbal threats as a form of retaliation when employees expressed concerns or questioned certain practices. This environment led to employees feeling hesitant to voice their opinions, fearing potential job repercussions.4. Lack of Training and Jealous Remark: Despite being assured that I would receive training as a server, I found myself without any proper guidance. I had to take it upon myself to learn the ropes, relying on my dedication and the kindness of customers. Additionally, it was unsettling to hear the owner make a very jealous remark about customers liking me more than her, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Your employees being liked by your customers should be seen as a good thing, but it came off as if she took it as a personal insult which was held against me.5. Unfair Dismissal and Lack of Accountability: Adding to my concerns, I faced an unjust dismissal after two weeks of working without tips. The owner, seemingly conveniently, chose to let me go by calling me in on my day off to deliver the news verbally, thus avoiding creating any paper trail or taking accountability for her actions. I even requested written documentation regarding the reasons for my dismissal, but she chose to ignore my request, further evading accountability. In conclusion, I hope that by sharing my personal experiences and concerns, it contributes to the betterment of the workplace at Grill Hall Brazilian Steakhouse. My aim is to foster a work environment where all employees feel valued and comfortable expressing their thoughts. I genuinely believe that addressing these concerns will lead to a more positive and respectful atmosphere within the establishment.
We went to to The Grill Hall brazilian steakhouse in Maple Grove. It was fabulous. The service was splendid and the Drinks and desserts were amazing. There were 5 parties in the restaurant and all were celebrating birthdays. Quite the party with restaurant singing. Loved the manager Eliane who made the night even more fun!!!!
Wow!!! We met here with some friends not knowing what to excpect but my goodness was I blown away. The food was delicous and the service was incredible. For the price it was 100% worth the visit. The staff was incredibly kind and the owner of the restraunt even introduced herself and we were able to talk a bit. Also the deserts came in large portions and were fresh and there were many new things I was able to try (and enjoy). Definetly a must try!
My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The food was very, very good and the service was fantastic. The place was a little quiet, but they turned the music up a little, which helped. I will be going back.
