The Country Butcher And Deli - Groton

I feel bad for not writing this earlier, but the country butcher is absolutely amazing. Why? Well, if you first go in, you will be greeted by the aroma of daily soups they make. In addition, they have a healthy part of meat, fish and cold cuts from which you can choose. The staff is friendly and can turn a freshly made sub in no time. It almost feels like you're going to an old school country store selling subs. Of course I would recommend it. I would also recommend trying the Chicken Bomb and a whole range of other handmade subs on the menu. You will not be disappointed!

Great beef tenderloin. The best in the state. Absolutely exquisite. Great cut. To this day. I just cooked it. Eating like tonight. What a treasure for the city of Groton!!

I wish I could have made a picture of my Steak bomb sandwich, but I swallowed it too fast to win a picture. I saw this sandwich on Nashoba eats Facebook group, and when I found myself a few minutes away, I had to try it for myself. The location is a small business right on Boston Road, I went in before it was busy, and was welcomed by the very friendly staff who answered all my questions. They even have their own choice of handcrafted root beer and other soda. I can only talk to the steak bomb Sub I got, but my God was sublime. The bread was super soft and all mushrooms and onions were well mixed with the steak. During my culinary experience I had no single piece of fat in my entire part. Your prices are also super reasonable, but if you find yourself in the Groton area, make this a must stop.
