By far, this is our favorite restaurant! The staff knows us well and addresses us by name, making us feel like guests in their home. Carrie and Josh have an intuitive sense for suggesting beers based on our past visits and preferences. The food is exceptional, from the uniquely crafted beer pairing dinners to the everyday menu items; it keeps us coming back for more! Burger Night truly lives up to the hype! Which other restaurant refreshes their menu every six weeks? We are so grateful that we don’t have to drive to Greenville for a fantastic meal in a place where everyone knows us by name. The Southern Growl is quickly becoming the ‘not-so-hidden’ gem of Greer!

Every time I've visited this bar/restaurant, I've been absolutely amazed. The food is unlike anything I've ever tasted, and the beer selection is fantastic. My only complaint is that I can't bring my puppy with me, but I hear they are working on expanding to a larger venue with outdoor seating, which would allow me to bring my dog. Overall, I rate the beer selection a 5 out of 5 and the food quality a 5 out of 5 as well. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely the best food I've ever had! This cuisine rivals that of any gourmet restaurant. You won't be disappointed! My husband and I drove 4.5 hours from Roanoke, VA, just to savor their incredible food and drink. We ordered a variety of dishes to share among ourselves and some friends, and I highly recommend doing the same to experience a wider range of flavors. It’s difficult to choose just one entree because everything is simply too delicious. We can't wait to go back!

Ladies and gentlemen The Southern Growl does a dinner every month that they pair beers with 5 to 7 courses of food that a phenomenal chef prepares for you.... it was hands down one of the best experiences of my life! I can not thank My friend enough for the invite! If you've never been to this amazing place located in Greer SC .... please.... please do yourself a favor and go! Great staff, great food, and great times !
