I placed an online order and had to wait 20 minutes in the drive-thru only to be informed that it would be another 15-20 minutes before they could take my order. Since it was an online order, I couldn't place it at the drive-thru. I was then asked to pull into a parking space and wait. I noticed several customers trying to reach the restaurant after being told about the wait time, only to find that the dining room was locked. It seemed like they were losing about 10 customers because of this.
This place has really gone downhill! The food is decent, but they constantly insist that your meal is “ready and packed up, so please go to the parking lot because our timer is running.” How can that be justified when I’ve waited three different times, especially since the manager’s window is always occupied? I insisted on waiting despite the timer, only to be stuck behind eight other cars for over 20 minutes! The manager gets frustrated every time we ask to wait, which has happened multiple times. I had hoped for better service after paying, but her door was locked, making it impossible for the staff to communicate effectively—they just see her and don’t discuss anything. I was looking forward to enjoying my meal, but it ended up being subpar this time. I reached out to customer service, and while they assured me that a district manager would get back to me, that never happened. They only offered me five credits on my app, which feels really inadequate after everything I dealt with, especially considering the issues I had with my order. I didn’t want to complain too much, but honestly, I have no plans to return. I’d rather take my chances with Church’s Chicken or KFC! This place has been the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. I recommend steering clear of it! The service quality is completely unacceptable, and they seem to care little about customer satisfaction. The staff at the drive-thru definitely needs an attitude adjustment! I parked even though there were many empty spots available for us. KFC is just two traffic lights north, which has now become my go-to choice. It may not be ideal, but at least it’s better than this place!
I ordered an 8-piece meal with two sides. I had to wait a few minutes for my order, but that was fine with me. The young man who took my order was very polite, and the young lady who brought my food out was also pleasant. We had to let the chicken cool down before we could eat it.
This location has improved in the last months, which is why I change my review. I am grateful for the new management and the staff that took over this facility. the Lightskin boy with the afro is very friendly and helpful and deserves a raise. also chop and ratchet are amazing.
Placed online order for drive thru pick up. Emailed receipt at 5:09pm. Walked out of store with order at 6:13. Manager complains of being short staffed yet no less than 25 other orders were filled in the hour I waited. Then complained about me wanting a fresh chicken sandwich. I 'm sorry lady but I didn 't wait an hour for my order to eat a sandwich that has been sitting there longer than I have. If you don 't have the staff to run the store then close it down. But before complaining about me wanting a fresh sandwich after waiting an hour she sure had time to run out to her car for a smoke break. Yep that 's right, customer waiting an hour for their order but has time for a break. So when they tell you welcome back to popeyes don 't let them fool you. You are not a priority.
