Mai Little China - Greenwood

This restaurant combines classic Chinese cuisine with traditional Southern favorites, making it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. They serve the best homemade banana pudding you'll ever taste! The upscale dining room is always immaculate, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.

This has been years ago. They had just opened. My mother and I were going to have dinner. As soon as we walked in the lady ran to us and told us we couldn?t dine in because we weren?t dressed appropriately. I quickly looked around and everyone was dressed similar to us. I could sense the hate in her tone and she quickly rushed us out. It was very upsetting. Since it was such a long time ago maybe things have changed but I?m still never going back.

This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic, and our server, Linda, was exceptional. The fried rice and lo mein we ordered were perfectly seasoned, served hot, and beautifully presented. Their homemade egg rolls, a recipe handed down for over 100 years, are a must-try! We will definitely return next year when we're back in town for Bikes Blues and Bayous.

What’s going on? Is it really acceptable to charge more for a takeout order than for dining in? Absolutely not! There are no dishes to wash, no tables to clean, and no waitstaff to pay for takeout. I won't be placing any more takeout orders unless things change. If you want to charge more, consider raising the prices for dine-in customers instead. It's unfair to penalize us for simply wanting food to go!

My first time in Greenwood. I traveI all the time and love Chinese cuisine. So glad I ran into the owner who recommended her restaurant of course. It is now Mai go to restaurant whenI visit again. Food was affordable, flavorful and the rice was tender and didn 't taste like rubber, like some other places I have been to.
