Handel's Homemade Ice Cream - Greenwood

This place is fantastic! I ordered a single scoop on a waffle cone, and it came out towering like the Leaning Tower of Pisa! It was incredible—I could barely finish it all! They offer a wide variety of delicious flavors; my favorite is the banana cream pie, while my husband enjoys the tin lizzy and the salty caramel truffle! We’ve never been disappointed during our visits. The only downside is that their website doesn’t accurately reflect the flavors they actually have available. It’s a bit disheartening to get excited about certain flavors only to find that none of them are on the menu when you arrive. Please update your online menu! That said, definitely give this place a try—you won’t regret it!

The ice cream is hand-packed and offers an extensive selection. The staff is friendly, quick, and very helpful, which is a refreshing change to see coupled with their smiles. We visit at least once a week, often twice, and we pass by three other ice cream shops to get here. The portion sizes are generous. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The service was friendly from the moment we arrived, and despite being very busy, the staff greeted everyone with smiles. My son and I ordered the extra thick milkshakes; I had a mix of strawberry and banana, and then added a chocolate monster shake as well. One of my son's shakes was a blue monster, and the other was chocolate chip cookie dough. It took us a few days to finish them, but it was definitely worth it! We’ve decided this is our top spot for shakes and ice cream.

For how busy this place gets the line moves very fast! I usually order the mixers which are similar to blizzards from Dairy Queen and they hit the spot! My girlfriend and I come here when we want an extra treat once in awhile. This is quality homemade ice cream.

I haven't had ice cream this good in a long time. The scoops are hella generous, and the pricing is beyond fair. They are quick when you're ready to go, and patient when you're trying to make a decision.
