I only drink in the park Tavern and never had a meal in there. However, out of all the pubs in the surrounding area this has to be the best. I have been visiting this pub for the past five years and never had a...bad pint. The service and friendly atmosphere is first class. It is old fashioned, but very homely'pub and the landlady doesn't allow riff-raft' which makes it ideal for a pleasant place to visit.

It was lovely to have a drink ahead of Christmas without blaring music, flashing lights or noisy fruit machines. It seems a favourite with locals, has a lovely atmosphere and the drinks are reasonably priced. It's old-style (esp the decor) and that adds to its...charm. The staff and locals were friendly too.

The Park Tavern London I always visit when in Eltham. There is usually a good selection of beers available. Reasonably priced. While I prefer pubs not to have music playing , the classical music(Classical FM is preferable to the alternatives. Staff are prompt, efficient and...friendly. A shame that the garden is not a bit larger..

Dropped in for a quick pint just before Xmas with the family who live locally. Quite busy so no seats it's not that large but that was okay. Fair range of tap beers and wines. Quite happily go there again only problem is...we live on the other side of the world! Seems to cater for the not the younger set so I guess a good local pub which is not overly noisy or raucous.
