La Catarina Street Tacos - Greenville

This place is terrible. We order 5 tacos and 1 8oz little bowl.of quacamole and it.literally took 40 minutes to get the food. The cooks were out in the dining area visiting with some people sitting and eating. We got the food and it was cold tortillas with shredded steak that was cold and old tasting. There was suppose to be cilantro and onion on 2 of our tacos and 2 of them had none so I don't know what took so long. The girl forgot to get our drinks We had to remind her 3 times. Won't be back for sure and that was our second visit. Thought we would give them the benefit of a doubt but the second time was worse then the first.

I had pastor tacos rice and beans as did my wife. It was 32 dollars for both plus tip. The pastor was extremely dry and burnt, the rice was not cooked well either and the tortillas had a very weird taste. This is very over priced and the food is honestly horrible. I have never had pastor or any tacos this horrible, my woman is Hispanic and we both cook Latin food and like to try different places but I do not recommend this to anyone. For 32 dollars you can go to a good restaurant or buy the food and cook it yourself. I would not be surprised if this place shuts down soon.

The food is delicious and the staff makes you feel appreciated that you came to spend your dollars there. I want to try just about everything on the menu. Great food! Nice staff!

Man I love the tacos but they are slower than cold molasses here, quoted 25 minutes for four to go tacos, actually took 42 minutes! And they weren?t busy. Other taco places I?ve been that are even more busy, 8 minutes for 10 tacos. Get it together guys, did you forget my order or what? One dude came in after me and ordered for here, got his food before I did. Do better please. Respond to this review and hook a brother up with some free tacos and I will amend my review.

LA CATRINA… YOU GUYS HAVE MY FOODIE HEART The food is always delicious and fresh !! The best service always and the best environment for a good time! They truly go above and beyond for their clients. And can’t forget… “the best taste” ?
