フィードバックを提供するMy man and a couple of friends in their early 30s had an impromptu double-date night at this restaurant. The setup was neat, and it was cool to have multiple fun activities all in one place. However, while we enjoyed ourselves, some of the mini-golf holes were challenging or lacked clear directions on where to start. The carpeting was odd, making it even more difficult at times. I did appreciate that each hole was themed after a movie, adding to the fun. But at $25 per person for mini-golf, the price seemed incredibly steep, even for an indoor venue with amenities. Each activity cost around $20 per person, quickly adding up along with drink prices. As a pregnant woman wanting a non-alcoholic drink, I found it pricey at $9 for a non-alcoholic beer. My man had a regular beer for $12, while one of our friends had a half-priced seltzer for $7. The high prices seemed unreasonable, considering there are other places with more reasonable drink prices. Each couple spent well over $100, and for the cost, we expected more. While it was amusing, it wasn't worth the high prices for the experience. Unless the pricing is adjusted, I wouldn't recommend going back again.
Group Therapy is a lively venue with a unique concept, offering designated times for adults and families to enjoy activities like mini-golf. We had a great time playing mini-golf and the food was enjoyable. However, the lack of soundproofing in the building created a noisy environment where conversation required raising your voice. Despite making a reservation for 7:15, we experienced significant delays between holes due to large groups ahead of us. The pricing for activities, including mini-golf, seemed steep considering the long wait times. Additionally, the tipping system based on percentages of the total bill was inconvenient and lacked flexibility. While the food and drink selection was good and the bartender and staff on the golf course were attentive, improvements are needed in terms of planning, service quality, and pricing. Overall, Group Therapy has potential but requires refinement to enhance the overall experience.
On the positive side, the restaurant is beautifully designed and the putt-putt course is well thought out and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, this type of event is a great addition to the city, but pricing should be more reasonable to encourage more frequent visits.
It is a good idea, but there are some things that need to be changed. the prices for drinks are ridiculous. the front lockers to leave a tipp is a bad idea. they get a bracelet that all on their register card and at the end they should be in one of 3 lockers with 18%, 20% and 22% on their tip, but if they do not see their bill. who thinks it's okay not to see her bill before she gets accused and why do I tip on the cost to play a game? I am all for the drink money and server, but not on the cost for minigolf for $25 a person and even pour my own beer and wein. Do not use the beer/wine wall, unless they want to see the dollar rack-up like a gas pump. the pictures I added show my beer that costs $12 and my wife wein for $17. I understand that the things are more expensive, but come on! that is greenville not south beach! the staff is very friendly and helpful and we had a good time, but the price structure and payment method is not good, especially for the self-made beer and wein.
Unbelievable new venue in an amazing spot downtown Greenville. Something for everyone here. Only wish they had music playing outside for the cornhole players.
