Bocca Pure Italian - Greenville

Great, fresh Italian food in the North Greenville area! We loved the intimate feel of the dining area and my chicken piccata was amazing. We came in during a rush, so initial service was slow, but they were very apologetic. Highly recommend! Place was is nicer on the inside than expected, food was good, BUT... the service was absolutely horrible. From the phone call setting a reservation to the end of our meal. Bad. Walked in with reservations for 2, stood around for 20 minutes or so, while we waited a larger party walked in, announced they did not have reservations and were seated within a few minutes. Another 10 minutes went by and we were told that they wouldn 't be ready for at least 30 more minutes. The waiters were all less than enthused to be there and from what the table next to is said, the owners sin was the most difficult to deal with. Very slow and really just seemed like they did not want to be there. Orders were wrong, which happens and wasn 'tan issue, white wine was warm. The food turned out to be good, but due to the horrible customer service and additional fees added on to the bill we definitely won 't be going back. Great local Italian place with unique dishes. The parmesan almond Basa was huge and excellent, though I did have to look up what kind of fish a Basa was. Not exactly Italian, but sure tasted like it was. The chicken picatta was likewise excellent, as was the penne with vodka sauce. Staff was excellent as well. I would highly recommend making a reservation!
