Jennie’s At Drossos - GREENPORT

Jennie’s is a fantastic spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner outdoors, conveniently situated on the main road before heading to Greenport. The tuna mi might just be the best sandwich I've ever tasted.

This isn’t your typical snack hut—it’s truly a hidden gem. Make sure you don’t just drive past; if you do, do a U-turn and head back. The food here is incredible! While they offer the usual snack menu, there’s so much more to enjoy. You can find grilled shrimp flatbread, lobster rolls, and Asian-inspired dishes like fried shishito peppers, honey Thai basil fried half chicken, and Korean BBQ ribs. And then there are my new favorites: duck fat-fried Yukon Gold potatoes. They are absolutely delightful!

"This is definitely the best roasted chicken I've had on Long Island, and possibly anywhere. The sweet potatoes were fantastic, and the portions were generous. My husband had a great chicken sandwich as well. We also enjoyed a delightful small dessert with a lovely rainbow sprinkle at the end. It was pure perfection!"

The ice was great! Softly serve in a waffle cone and moose track in a regular cone. Can't go wrong and highly recommended!

Market salad of the day was exceptionally delicious. Brimming with fresh greens, beautiful big pieces of grilled chicken, big chunks of fresh local watermelon. The salad was a real winner at a good price
