Industry Standard - GREENPORT

My boyfriend and I sat and had dinner at the bar and had a great time. The server was so accommodating and considerate. She went out of her way to request a vegan pasta dish from the kitchen, and it was delicious. There was a little bit of a mix-up (the handmade dish was accidentally given to the wrong guests but I am happy to know that the food is fresh and that the employees care about the needs of their guests. Thank you to the chef and the back-of-house team! The plates here are creative, thoughtful, and TASTY. We will definitely be back again. Make sure you try out the pebble potatoes and the mushroom fennel pistachio butter starter :

This restaurant brings the class of fine dining, the warmth of a great local spot, and the quality to make any evening memorable. We dined at Alpina to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. Both sets of my grandparents emigrated from Switzerland to the United States. I grew up hearing my Grandpa yodeling and myself played the schweitzer orgali, a Swiss button box accordion. This restaurant is as authentic as it gets. The rösti, Swiss sausages, and Landjäger tasted just like my grandpa made growing up. I've worked in Michelin star restaurants for about five years in NYC and this food rivals if not exceeds the food served in those restaurants. We had a blast trying wine flights from Switzerland, eating extraordinary food and experiencing some of the greatest service I've had in a restaurants. If I didn't live so far away I would dine here nightly. It's a MUST TRY spot!

Would you like to take a magic carpet ride to the Swiss Alps tended by a world class sommelier, served by an inspired chef and looked after by a manager who left no pan unturned to provide a memorable dinner? Alpina’s Caesar salad hit the heights as did an earthly plate of tagliatelle in duck ragu. Add an ambrosial glass of late harvest Barghetto for a happy landing. What you find at Alpina as charcuterie and cheese to accompany their stellar wines and cocktails is found nowhere else that we know of. Unless you happen to have a celestial means of transport. Both your palette and your brain will be stimulated at Alpina, esp in the hands of Miguel whose acting talent vies with his magic as a mixologist.

The wine selection is incredible, and there’s a great variety of spirits and cocktails, including zero-proof options. The service is very attentive, and the food is delicious, offering something for everyone. The atmosphere and attention to detail in the restaurant are also greatly appreciated. This place is a must-try!

I visited for the second time last night, and it was amazing! The service was outstanding, and each bite of food was incredible. The wine list is one-of-a-kind, and putting together a tasting flight made it enjoyable to pair a wine with our dinner. Our server, Tyler, was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience delightful. I can't stop thinking about the pasta we had! The food, atmosphere, and overall culinary experience are worth every penny.
