フィードバックを提供するI dined at this restaurant several times, and each time the food and service have been excellent. Last week, we attended a birthday party there with around 50 guests in the banquet room. The bartender served a decent Scotch whiskey, and the buffet was quite impressive. The salad was fresh, the sausage was delicious, and the lasagna was also tasty. I'm glad that Lynn is still managing the place; she and the staff made our evening enjoyable!
Despite the challenges faced by restaurants during the early days of the pandemic, we decided to give this place another shot, and it was fantastic! We opted for the lunch menu, which featured a creative salad and a great selection of sandwiches and appetizers. I ordered the grilled lime salmon dish, which was a generous portion of salmon with a light pan glaze (the flavor was more salty than citrusy) served with quinoa, mango salsa, avocado, and I can't quite recall what else, all atop a bed of crispy greens. Yum! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and I can't wait to return! My dish was priced at around $16, which is very reasonable considering today's standards.
We arrived at 1:15 PM for our 1:30 PM reservation and decided to wait at the bar. We were seated at our table by 1:20 PM, and we had already ordered drinks at the bar before being seated. However, by 1:58 PM, we hadn’t received any service—no drink orders taken and not even a glass of water. Lynn, the manager, was informed that we were still waiting. She did send a waiter over, but as she left, she made a very rude comment. I checked with the couple dining with us to see if I had heard her correctly, and they confirmed that I had. We placed our orders and tried to make conversation while we waited, but when we wanted another drink, someone from our party had to go back to the bar to fetch it. By 2:30 PM, we still hadn’t received our meals. Frustrated, Sharon decided to leave. Ironically, our food arrived just as she walked out. I figured she wasn’t coming back, so I decided to leave as well. The couple we were with chose to stay and eat. What frustrated me most was that the manager thought we were complaining about delays in the kitchen, when in fact, we were completely ignored at our table—no even a basic water service! I’ve dined in many restaurants across the country and understand that kitchens can be slow, but I've never experienced being completely overlooked and then dismissed by a manager when trying to explain my concerns. Lynn does not seem suited for a managerial role, and if Mike appreciates her attitude, he might want to reconsider whether he's in the right line of business. That’s just my opinion.
Eating was amazing! I was really surprised how friendly the staff was, but the hostess / manager damen made us welcome and it is the first time that happened in the green valley restaurant. the atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful.
Had delicious lunch. Shrimp Dish was tasty with just a bit of kick, beef was tender and tasty mashed potatoes. Followed with coffee and dessert Tres Leche cake was ok, Tiramisu was better.
