Knight Street Milk Bar & Take Away

The burgers are huge and tasty, really yumm :-) ... and a good value for your money. I prefer the Hamburger with a Lot and chips.

How disappointing when you have trouble finding good fish and chips for Saturday nights tea!!. This cafe is close to where we live so that is a bonus but that is about all.

This has very good quality take-away food. The fish is fresh and not overcooked, the scallops are always flavoursome, and the chips are the best. Very friendly service, and always consistent.

Good food, Unfortunately the lady serving has very poor English ( i cant knock this i used to have the same problem) but its very hard to order, people with poor English know they have poor English! anyway they have a 10 dollar minimum purchase i asked if i could pay a fee spend $5.50 anyway instead of charging me even a dollar to cover there fees, Which are not a dollar. She suggested i buy 2 of the same lunch pack twice? i said what am i going to do with 2 lunch packs its just me? any way i asked again if i could pay the fee it was not until i said oh its OK don't worry and went to walk out she suddenly shouted out oh you can pay 50 cents. it seems to me she knew this all along but just wanted to me to spend double the money

Enjoyed a simple chicken and mayo sandwich here the other day. They served me quickly and politely and the sandwich was just what I had asked for.
